Think Pink! - Breast Cancer Awareness

Surprise, surprise I am back - twice in one week I know it's a rare occurrence but this time it's for a very good cause!!  The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness and having friends that have been or are going through this wanted to join and do my bit, so today I went to a Fundraiser hosted by a lovely friend.

Firstly, I thought I would have to buy myself a 'pink' t-shirt and me being me had to change it in some way, so I found out the image kindly donated from the wonderful Krista from Saturated Canary (Called Boobie Love - Here) printed onto T-Shirt transfer added to my top and coloured with Copics (because my t-shirt is bright pink it did not colour too well but it was fine), a couple of people said they wanted one!!!

Sorry, not a very clear photo!
Close up of the image!

I had already offered to bake cupcakes for the day, but then thought (having seen it on the internet) to make some cupcakes into a bouquet which could be auctioned off to raise a few more dollars, every bit helps, here they are:
Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla buttercream Icing!
The Pink ribbons I made from white icing dyed pink!!

There is more...... I then saw a post on the Copic Oz blog where they would donate $5 to the McGrath Foundation for every entry into this challenge, so here is my entry:
They are bookmarks or a little gift for someone again made using the beautiful Boobie Love image from Saturated Canary, the papers are Carta Bella - Paris Girl range, along with a Martha Stewart Border & butterfly punch then adding ribbon and pink bling!!

Copics used: E000,00,21,11,93,50,51,53,57, W0,1,3,5,7 YG93, RG6,10
Close up of one!

Reverse of Tag!
I printed the words onto the pink paper then cut out using spellbinder Labels 17, then stuck on the reverse,  decorated using liquid pearls.
These could be purchased and again all donations went to the fundraiser!!

Thank you for stopping by, wishing you all a wonderful week.
Take care

Dinosaur Birthday Lolly Bags....

Hello everyone, well last week was my little boys 2nd Birthday where has the time gone!!! To celebrate we had a morning tea with his little friends at home (whilst the bigger kids were at kinder) so this worked out very well.  I went with a kind of Dinosaur theme and made lolly bags from red envelopes which were from Envelope Solutions, then stamped the image onto punched out tags then coloured.  I altered the image with my 0.3 multiliner by adding the little sign and wrote each name on the tag!!!!  I would like to enter this project into the Mad for Markers October Challenge - Using Copic Multiliners somewhere/somehow!!

Here is a close up of the tag with the added sign and name!!
Copics used: YG91, 93, 95, 99, B93, R27, C5 and Black 0.3 Multiliner

The cake which I was talked into making by my auntie was a train and thankfully she did as I was very pleased, here is a picture of our little man about to blow out the candle!!  I also made dinosaur shortbread and dinosaur cake pops!!
All in all it was a great week. This week has not been quite as fun as myself and Charlie came down with a sickness bug Monday evening but thankfully it only lasted 24 hours - so all better now.  Just need to get myself back into crafting as I have two cards to get completed before the weekend and a Christmas card order along with a few other things.

Hope you all have a wonderful week.

Purple and Orange Magnolia

Finally, it's been a while. not that I don't have things to share just that there does not seem to be enough hours in the day to get everything done and updating my blog seems to get pushed to the bottom of the never ending list!!!  Spent the day on Saturday at my local Scrapbooking store (Creative Dreams, Boronia) for their grand opening into the new store doing demonstrations using various in store products!!!  It's always good to sit and be doing the things you love.

Here is a card and tag I completed recently which I had intended using for a challenge, but unfortunately did not get to upload in time, therefore would now like to share and enter this into the Mad for Markers Challenge - Anything Goes, the papers were taken from two Kaisercraft paper pads - Devonshire Collection and the Madame Boutique, the colour inspiration came from the free embellishment pack from one of my craft magazines which included the felt/button flowers and ribbon.  The Magnolia images were coloured using copics:

Copic Colours used:
E50, 51, 53, 11, 95, 13, 17

Over the last few days have been making canvas peg boards which are available to purchase, if interested please feel free to email for information.
Many thanks, hope you have a great week.

M4M - July Challenge (Mimosa Hat Bildmalarna)

I know it's been a while, sorry have been a bit slack with blogging, lot's of things happening and many projects on the go! We have just had two weeks half term holidays and the first week Charlie was sick with temp, cold and cough and then Harvey the second week so we spent lots of time at home!!

Had a tidy up in my craft room and realised that I had two beautiful Bildmalarna stamps from Bizzy Becs that I had not yet used so off I set and thought I would join in the wonderful challenge taking place at Mad for Markers which is to use only B, BG and BV Copic markers. Now there is a bit of a story to this card I merrily coloured the image and promptly made the card and whilst looking at it realised that little Mimosa was actually sitting in mid-air!!!  So had to think how to fix up without pulling the card apart..... so here we go, I stamped this image onto a post it note and stuck over the top of my coloured image then inked and stamped the Magnolia swing over the top, only it did not stamp very well so had to fill in the gaps and add a type of cushion that she would be sitting on as the swing was stamped a little low and this is it.... am pretty happy how she turned out, hope you like it!!
 Copics used: Hair & Skin: E50, 51, 53, 11, 93, 43, 47, 49
Hat, Shoes & Clothes: BG000, 01, 10, 09, 15, 23, 72, 75, 78, 93, 96, 99
The paper was a Kaisercraft Paper Pad - Madame Boutique

Mad for Markers July Challenge - Creations using only B, BG and BV Copic markers.

I have also been spending my time Knitting scarves, making Hair Clips, note books, baking and of course looking after two boys!!  Last Friday we had a PJ day at home so as well as getting some housework done baked Whoopie Pies with Charlie which were very nice and a Banana Cake. Then the weekend I whipped up some vanilla cupcakes with Chocolate buttercream icing which I was very proud of....

This week I received my collection of Tim Holtz distress markers which am looking forward to having a play with and am excited about receiving my Magnolia stamps from the new collection which I have been informed have been shipped from Bizzy Becs!!!

Thought I would also show you a couple of the hair clips that I have been making, which have been a big hit with the mums at kinder and friends. (Sorry computer has decided not to upload anymore pictures so hopefully next time)
Looking forward to bringing you more sometime soon, thank you for stopping by.
